Ski touring nature trail
Signposted route on 6 sections, away from the secured pistes
On the 1st Carinthian ski touring nature trail on the Heidi Alm Falkert, you can learn the most important basics of ski touring. The trail is open to everyone free of charge. It is ideal for newcomers to ski touring and also offers experienced skiers a safe tour.
Start: Falkertsee 1,875 m
Route: through the Sonntagstal valley, 433 metres in altitude
Finish: summit Falkertspitz 2,308 m
Distance: approx. 2.5 km, corresponds to approx. 1.5 h
on the ski touring trail
Avalanche training field
Permanent PIEPS avalanche training area
- Between sections 3 and 4 on the ski touring trail
- Ski tourers and mountaineers can train here for emergencies
- Various transmitters are buried

The avalanche training area is freely available to everyone for training purposes.
