Ski School & Ski Hire
For over 50 years, we have been guiding children and families on the snow-covered slopes of the Falkert – with enthusiasm, patience and experience.
Albert Huber founded the Falkert Ski School back in 1969. Today, his son Peter Huber is carrying on the tradition – and we’re proud to be among the most successful ski schools for children and families in Carinthia.
Good to know
- The ski school is open daily from 9 am to 4 pm
- Group lesson times: Monday to Friday 9.30 am – 12.30 pm
- In the afternoons and at weekends, we are available exclusively for private lessons
- Meeting point: Beginner children at Heidi’s Ski Club by the ski school; advanced skiers at the entrance to Heidi’s Schnee-Alm or the Sonnenlift valley station
- Supervision: Children’s ski instructors and supervisors
- Ski races and Snow Olympics: every Friday from 10.00
- Equipment: Helmet, ski suit, gloves, sunglasses or goggles, sun cream, ski boots, skis (serviced)
- All children (except beginners at Heidi’s Ski Club) need a lift pass (free for under-6s – just a €5 deposit)

- Items hired after 3 pm will only be charged from the following calendar day.
- Returns made by 10.00 am the following day are free of charge.
Bad weather or other disruptions do not exempt the customer from paying the hire fee.
In the event of significant damage, the cost of repairs will be charged.
In the event of theft or breakage, the current market value must be reimbursed. No liability is accepted for accidents of any kind.
Prices are in euros and include 20% VAT. Subject to change.
