High up in the mountains, at the very end of the Falkert mountain road and right by the lake, your hosts, the Köfer family, warmly welcome you to a very special retreat for families: the Heidi-Hotel Falkertsee.
In the heart of the Biosphere Reserve in the Carinthian Nockberge mountains, we combine peace and nature with everything that makes a family holiday truly relaxing: loving childcare, exciting alpine and snow adventures, and plenty of space to enjoy time together.
Outside, 100,000 m² of nature, a mountain lake and the surrounding peaks are waiting to be explored. In summer, enjoy alpine adventures and the Heidi Alm children’s adventure park. In winter, the ski slopes start right outside the hotel, with our own magic carpet for beginners and a fun-filled snow adventure programme.
Inside, there is just as much to discover. Our two-storey Family Alm, with play areas, slides, climbing elements, a trampoline and sports hall, gives children plenty of space to play and explore – whatever the weather.
For some well-deserved relaxation, head to our Alm Wellness area with panoramic indoor pool and children’s splash pool, saunas, steam bath, infrared cabin, relaxation room and outdoor log cabin sauna with an ice pond.
And because a holiday in the mountains should also taste of the region, our kitchen focuses on high-quality ingredients, with a large proportion of our food sourced from producers and suppliers in Carinthia.
