Welcome to Almhaus Heidi - your retreat in the midst of unspoilt nature at 1,800 m above sea level in the Nockberge Biosphere Park on the beautiful Falkert.
Here you can enjoy the tranquillity of the mountains, fresh alpine air and the comfort of a lovingly furnished alpine chalet with space for up to 10 people.
Location & view
The south-facing alpine hut is situated on a sunny slope and offers you a magnificent panoramic view of the Falkertspitz, the surrounding peaks and - on a clear day - as far as the Karawanken.
Hours of sunshine from dawn to dusk are guaranteed here!
Living & well-being
Our cosy log cabin (built in 2006) combines traditional charm with modern comfort.
Around 100 m² of living space awaits you:
- a spacious living room with wood-burning stove and dining area
- a fully equipped kitchen (wood-burning cooker, electric cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine)
- 4 bedrooms (2 double rooms, 1 four-bed room, 1 multi-purpose room)
- 2 bathrooms (bath & shower) and a guest WC
- a combined sauna (bio & Finnish) with coloured light
- SAT-TV, DVD & Blu-Ray player, radio/CD
- Terrace with barbecue & garden furniture
- Car park directly at the house
In summer and winter you receive the Heidi-Alm-Bergresort Card free of charge with numerous discounts!
For children, the Heidialm offers a varied childcare and play programme - perfect for families!
Summer on the Falkert
Discover the Nockberge mountains while hiking, climbing, riding or mountain biking.
The Falkertsee lake, cosy alpine huts and alpine dairies as well as the Heidialm mountain resort with a large playground await you.
With the Kärnten Card (available in the surrounding area) you benefit from numerous discounts - e.g. on cable cars, museums and boat trips on the Carinthian bathing lakes.
Tip: Mountain bike fans can look forward to Europe's longest flow country trail in Bad Kleinkirchheim with around 15 km of trails and its own bike park.
Winter on the Falkert
In winter, the family-friendly Falkert ski area with ski school, lifts and pistes is just 500 metres away.
Cross-country skiing, tobogganing, snowshoeing, ski touring and ice skating are also possible right on the doorstep.
